NUTRITIONAL FACTS
Referred to as the ‘miracle tree’, Moringa oleifera is found in tropical regions such as Africa. Moringa offers very high nutritional value while being easy to cultivate and resistant to drought. The Moringa tree produces abundant leaves with a high concentration of proteins, vitamins, and minerals: 100 grams of fresh Moringa tree leaves provide the same amount of protein as an egg, as much iron as a steak, as much Vitamin C as an orange, and as much calcium as a glass of milk. Moringa tree dried leaves can be easily preserved and used as a supplement in food preparation. Furthermore, Moringa tree leaves are an excellent source of minerals like calcium, iron, copper, manganese, zinc, selenium, and magnesium. In addition, the seeds of the Moringa tree produce a fine quality oil that is anti-oxidant rich and suitable for organic hair and skin products.
Harvest: When the plant is grown from cuttings, the first harvest can take place 6–8 months after planting with multiple subsequent harvestings.
Volume: Average yields of six tons/ha/year in fresh Moringa leaves can be achieved. Our farmers have access to 500+ hectares of arable land
Quality: Our farms comply with internationally recognized organic quality standards.
